Nassau’s only live narrated ATV tour. Follow an expert local guide through the island’s historic and cultural landmarks, with Bahamian food tastings along the way and a sit-down lunch to finish.
You also pass some of Nassau’s most famous buildings and landmarks, and every tour is a little different. No experience needed, small groups, and free pickup from the cruise port.

Good to know
- 01
Drivers must be 25–69 years old with a physical, valid driver’s licence. A photo of a licence is not accepted. ATV passengers must be 10 or older.
- 02
Each ATV seats a driver and one passenger. The ATVs are automatic, and you get a short practice before you head out.
- 03
Closed-toe shoes are required. Long pants are a good idea.
- 04
Every participant signs a tour waiver, and every driver signs a rental contract agreeing to the insurance deductible for any damage to the vehicle.
- 05
Not coming off a ship? Meet at Bowcar, Sands Road off East Street, Nassau, 30 minutes before the tour.
- 06
Tours run on set days. A group that meets the tour minimum may be able to go on another day.

Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your booking: you get a full refund. Cancel by phone or email and wait for the team to confirm.
Cancellations within 24 hours, late arrivals and no-shows are not refunded. Port pickups wait 5 minutes past the booked time.
If Bowcar has to cancel, for example for severe weather, you choose between rescheduling, a full refund or a credit towards another tour or rental.
Questions, answered
I’ve never ridden an ATV. Is that okay?
Yes, most guests haven’t. Everyone gets a full safety briefing and a short practice loop before the tour starts.
What if I fall behind the group?
The guide rides at the group’s pace, and on group tours a second guide brings up the rear. Signal and the group will stop.
We’ve never driven on the left. Is that a problem?
No. You follow the guide in convoy the whole way. In The Bahamas we drive on the left.
Will I make it back to my ship?
All guided tours are 3 hours. Check your ship’s departure time and leave an extra 30–45 minutes of buffer. Bowcar has run port-day tours since 2002.
