How much does it cost?
Guided ATV and jeep tours are $150 per person, all-inclusive. The VIP Private Tour is $221 per person (minimum 4). ATV rentals start at $250 and 6-seater buggies at $350 in Nassau, or $300 for 24 hours in Exuma. Contact us for a custom quote for bigger groups or longer rentals.
Are gratuities included?
Yes, in every tour and rental rate. The price you see is the price you pay, plus any applicable fees and taxes at checkout.

Do you do group or private tours?
Yes. Private tours start at four guests, with no upper limit for groups. Call 1-800-558-1364, 1-242-557-2223 or email reservations@bowcarbahamas.com.
Can I book a large group?
Yes. ATV tours take up to 8 ATVs (a driver and one passenger each). For buggy rentals there’s no group limit: we supply as many 6-seaters as you need.
How quickly do you reply?
We respond to enquiries within 24–48 hours. WhatsApp is usually fastest.
Can you help with excursions on other islands?
Yes, we can help arrange excursions and tours on other Bahamian islands.
Driving & safety
How old do drivers need to be?
Drivers must be 25–69 for all vehicles, in line with our insurance policy, and every driver needs a physical, valid driver’s licence. A standard licence is all you need.
Do I need experience?
No. Every rental and tour starts with a full safety briefing and vehicle orientation.
Which side of the road do you drive on?
The left. On guided tours you follow the guide in convoy, so it’s easy to get used to.
What’s included with a rental?
ATV rentals include helmets, a safety briefing, a recommended sites flyer and a saved offline map. Buggies include the briefing, flyer and offline map. A programmed GPS is available for an extra fee.
How does the damage deposit work?
A refundable deposit is taken at check-in ($500 per buggy), in cash or as an authorization on Visa or Mastercard. It’s returned (cash) or voided (card) when the vehicle comes back.
When does my rental begin?
At the start time you booked. Check in 30 minutes early. If you arrive late, you still return at the original time, otherwise a late fee applies.
Are your guides licensed?
Yes. Our guides are Government licensed, Bahama Host and CPR certified.
Tours, kids & weather
Can children come?
ATV tours and rentals: passengers 10 and older. Jeep tours and buggies: all ages. Children 5 and under need a car seat, available for a small fee. Tell us the ages when you book.
Why isn’t my tour available on a certain day?
Guided tours run on set days so we can offer the full range. If your group meets the tour minimum, we may be able to run it on another day.
What happens if it rains?
Tours usually go ahead in light rain. Depending on the tour and the weather, we may adjust it for safety, or cancel with a full refund.
Which days are you open?
Nassau is open 7 days a week. Exuma is open 9am–5pm, 7 days a week, and closed on public holidays.
Cruise passengers
Where do I meet you?
Leave the ship and walk to the Ground Transportation sign next to the Junkanoo Museum. Our rental booth window has the Bowcar sign. After you sign in, we shuttle you two blocks to our main location.
Can I fit a tour into my port day?
Yes. All guided tours are 3 hours. Check your ship’s arrival and departure times and allow 30–45 minutes of buffer.
Not on a ship?
Meet us at Sands Road off East Street, 30–40 minutes before your start time. There are no refunds for late arrivals.
