Exuma’s beaches are spread out, and the best ones are down roads a golf cart won’t manage. Our open-side 4×4 buggies (we call them jeeps too: same vehicle) are road legal and built for off-road terrain.
Collect your buggy at the Exuma Yacht Club & Marina, right across from Island Boys Restaurant. One to two days is the sweet spot for seeing Great Exuma.

Good to know

Drivers must be 25–69 years old with a physical, valid driver’s licence. A photo of a licence is not accepted. Children of any age can ride as passengers; 5 and under need a car seat ($10 per day).

A refundable $500 damage deposit is taken at check-in, in cash or as an authorization on Visa or Mastercard. It’s returned or voided when the vehicle comes back.

Open 9am–5pm, seven days a week. Closed on public holidays.

Flying in? Add a roundtrip transfer from Exuma International Airport (GGT) for $30 per person. Book it in advance.

Arriving by boat? Find us at the Exuma Yacht Club dock.

Book ahead, especially in peak season.
What to bring
- A physical driver’s licence
- Cash or a Visa/Mastercard for the $500 deposit
- Swimwear, sunscreen and a cooler for beach days
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your booking: you get a full refund. Cancel by phone or email and wait for the team to confirm.
Cancellations within 24 hours, late arrivals and no-shows are not refunded. Port pickups wait 5 minutes past the booked time.
If Bowcar has to cancel, for example for severe weather, you choose between rescheduling, a full refund or a credit towards another tour or rental.

Is it a jeep or a buggy?
Both. It’s the same open-side 6-seater, and we use the two names interchangeably.
Can you pick us up from the airport?
Yes, a roundtrip transfer from Exuma International Airport (GGT) to the Yacht Club and back is $30 per person. Book it in advance; it’s subject to availability.
What should we see?
Tropic of Cancer Beach, Coco Plum Beach, the Hermitage Estate ruins and the colourful streets of George Town. Lunch at Santana’s is a local favourite.
Can we rent for longer than three days?
Yes. Message the Exuma team on WhatsApp at 1-242-828-5337 for longer rentals.
